Review by hotel critic
During my recent city break at Hotel Pepita in picturesque Sandvig, I was enchanted by the blend of modern comfort and historical charm. Our spacious triple room was not only clean but thoughtfully designed, providing a cozy retreat after our explorations. Breakfast was a highlight, beautifully presented with an array of options from cheeses and cold cuts to fresh fruits and pastries—perfect for fueling a day of adventure! The hotel’s proximity to the delightful Sandvig Beach, just a leisurely 250 meters away, opened the door to evening strolls along the shoreline and opportunities for kayaking adventures. the local recommendations provided by the friendly manager led us to charming eateries that showcased delicious traditional Danish cuisine, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the local culture. I appreciated the blend of leisure and nature, as the scenic Hammerknude and the views of Hammershus ruins drew us in for both exploration and photography. Hotel Pepita made for a memorable stay that I can’t recommend enough for fellow nature enthusiasts and history lovers alike!
